I live just outside of Seattle in a suburb named Des Moines.  Yes, our city is always confused with the city in Iowa.  I have had many jobs in my lifetime--park aide, gymnastics instructor, secretary, medical transcriptionist,  junior assistant buyer in a department store, SAT tutor,  systems analyst, data administrator, actress, singer, software trainer, diversity consultant, substitute teacher, web designer and college instructor.  I'm also a survivor.  ARDS and AFE.  Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and Amniotic Fluid Embolism.  I believe in miracles.  Perhaps after you read my story, you will too.
